Although Remi may no longer be with us, we still try to keep things as normal as possible and help others. We have been making plans to celebrate Remington’s first birthday and there is exactly one month to get everything ready before 2-1-18 💜
To celebrate her day of birth Remington’s Heart is wanting to provide every heart patient at Children’s Mercy with a toy that Remi loved. We are needing to purchase several Fisher Price Cuddle Vibrations Soothers and we need your help.
- This cuddly pal relaxes baby with softly humming music and gentle vibrations. Remi loved this toy so much that the nurse would activate the toy every time it would turn off.
- Once the goal has been reached we will purchase the toys and deliver them to CMH on 2-1-18. We will also attach a letter to parents with the toys to give parents hope and express our compassion for heart families.
- If our goal goes over, we will provide a separate gift for parents.
The $17 donation covers the cost for 1 toy only. If you would like to provides larger donation for batteries or to support our mission simply change the donation amount.About: Remington was born at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on February 1st, 2017 through an emergency c-section. She was born with a rare critical congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Remington had several amazing moments but unfortunately she passed away on March 25th, 2017. Remi showed us hope, unconditional love, and support from several people.
This compassion & support is what makes Remington’s Heart continue through helping Heart families.
